TERMS AND CONDITIONS

For ALL packages: 
A deposit of $500 will secure your reservation. 
Balance of payment is due no later than June 1, 2019.

SCALE OF CANCELLATION CHARGES:
Cancellations are subject to the following scale of charges:
Up to April 30, 2018: $500 deposit is fully refundable
May 1 - June 1, 2018: $250 of deposit is non-refundable
Final Payment due June 1, 2018
June 2 – July 1, 2018: 50% of the total cost is non-refundable
July 2 to Aug. 13, 2018: 100% No refund for unused services.

Responsibility: Oxford Churchmusic, Halton Trafalgar Travel Ltd., their agents and/ or suppliers in connection with this trip act only as agents for the traveler, and accept no responsibility for the service of any accommodation, aircraft, motor coach, or any other conveyance used in connection with the trip, nor any delay, loss or accident to travelers or baggage occasioned by such services from whatever cause. In the event it becomes necessary for the comfort or well-being of the participants, or for any other reason, to alter the arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to Oxford Churchmusic or Halton Trafalgar Travel Limited. Oxford Churchmusic, Halton Trafalgar Travel Limited and their agents reserve the right to decline any person as a participant should such person’s health or mental condition or general deportment impede the operation of the trip or choir/lecture sessions or the enjoyment of the trip participants. Oxford Churchmusic reserves the right to cancel the trip prior to departure, in which case full refund of all monies paid will constitute full settlement to the participant.

Notice to travelers: The Ontario Government requires us to advise anyone traveling outside of Ontario that “Living standards and practices, as well as standards and conditions with respect to the provisions of utilities, sanitary services and the grading of accommodation may differ with Canadian standards.”

Rates are based on exchange rates in effect January 20, 2018. Minor fluctuations in exchange rates will not affect trip price. However, Oxford Churchmusic and Halton Trafalgar Travel Ltd. reserve the right to amend prices should the Canadian dollar depreciate substantially. Except for a price increase that is the result of government taxation or fuel surcharges, if there is an increase in the price of travel services by more than 7% after a deposit has been paid for the trip services, the consumer has the right to cancel the contract for the trip services without penalty.

BALLIOL COLLEGE and THE JOWETT WALK BUILDING

Balliol College has given us a reduction in their normal rates (though our other suppliers have not) due to the possible disturbances caused by the construction of another student residence at Jowett Walk.

The site, at the eastern end of the campus next to the Master’s Field, will be completely enclosed, and most of the components assembled offsite resulting in reduced noise levels. Work will take place on weekdays between 8 AM and 4 PM. Most participants will be up by then, preparing to sing at the chapel until noon, and at lunch until 1 PM or later, so only those needing an afternoon nap may be inconvenienced by the project. Taking into account our two side-trips and the weekends, there will not be many days to worry about.

For former participants, this new residence is being constructed in the place where the car-park was.
